Dorset Aisle, Ottery St Mary
The impressive fan vault of the sixteenth century Dorset aisle of St Mary’s church, Ottery St Mary was cleaned to remove years of dirt and debris, and repointed. We also cleaned and stabilised the three chapels at the east end of the church.
Architectural Stonework
We undertake stone cleaning and repair work to architectural elements such as vaulting and stone window tracery. Work may include poultice and steam cleaning, re-pointing, lime mortar repair and stone replacement. We approach these projects from the angle of retaining as much of the original material as possible.
